Now that John and I are in full force on our profit funnel of buying and selling niche websites, we thought we’d start educating all of our My Seven Figures readers on this topic.
This is still a business in its infancy, but one I don’t see going anywhere any time soon. Although the buying and selling of websites has been going on for a very long time, it’s only been in the last year that it’s become incredibly popular and well known.
I’ve spent the day trying to find some of the best resources about buying and selling niche websites and here’s what I’ve come up with.

http://www.notyouraverage.net isn’t your average site at all. This is a great site I found that has a ton of great content about selling websites.
If you don’t know already, adult websites are hot sellers, and this site does talk about adult websites and have links to adult websites. If you are offended by adult material, then don’t visit that site.
John and I aren’t dealing with any adult websites with the niche sites we are dealing with and to make money in the buying and selling websites niche, you don’t have to either.
As I said though, this site is a great resource site that contains killer information!

Is Website Flipping A Profitable Business?
It seems that everyone is running around like a chicken with their head cut off in this big sea of “income opportunity”. The whole “make money online” propaganda is at an all time high and literally thousands of people are falling for scam after scam. People are losing money each and every day!
If you’re one of these people that is chasing after the get rich quick dream, it’s time to wake up. There’s no such thing! However, creating your own online business that will allow you to work from home and make money is not a dream. It can be a reality once you quit chasing dream after dream in your “get rich quick” state of mind.
Building a business online or offline is not easy. Building an online business, takes less money, less people, just about less everything, but it still takes just as much work as starting an offline business. You simply have to pick one business model and put it into place.
Would you run out and try starting 10 different offline brick and mortar businesses? Of course not, so why do that online. Pick one thing and go for it! By starting with just one business, you’ll be 100 times more successful than you would with 100 different business. Once you get one business started and profiting, then and only then do you want to try to start another business.
For instance, an online business that I run is a VRE (virtual real estate) business where we buy websites, fix them up and sell them for way more than we paid for them. It’s called website flipping.
Kind of like house flipping, but this real estate doesn’t carry much risk, and it’s virtual. Websites are online real estate, and there’s a lot of money to be made with them. As long as you have a solid plan, and the know how, you should do perfect with a website flipping business.
The first thing you’ll need to know is where to people buy and sell websites. Second, you’ll need to know how to spot bargains and snatch them up to resell. Besides these two things, you’ll need some “tech” experience, or have the funds to hire someone that does have it. Last but not least, you’ll need the drive and desire to be a super project manager who can get things done quickly because website flipping is a very fast paced business.
Once you have the resources, the “tech” know how you need, and the drive, you are well on your way to starting a profitable online business with website flipping, but do know that there is a sharp learning curve, so you need to learn as much about website flipping as you can.
Although website flipping is much less risky and cost much less than house flipping, you could still lose money or get taken. So before “playing the game”, make sure you know how to plan and the rules to follow.

Now this is just an example. You could have different prices, maybe you need to sell services instead of products, or whatever it may be, but that is an example of a profit funnel.
